Our Ministries

Our mission: to help the sick, provide for the needy, and shine as a beacon of hope in the community.

Clergy regularly visit Westerly Hospital and local area nursing homes to bring communion, fellowship and prayer.

Deacons oversee the "Teams Caring" program: a team of 2-3 people is assigned to a sick or elderly person who needs regular visits. The team also plans meals, and rides to medical appointments.

Mission trips bring our members to areas around America where we can help.

Our members are active in the following ministries:

•Harvest Home – Housing for homeless families

•Jonnycake Center for low income families

•Habitat for Humanity

•Annual mission trips to repair Katrina hurricane damage in New Orleans and Mississippi

•Mission trips to repair
low-income houses in Maine, Florida and other areas as needed

•Meals for Westerly's WARM homeless shelter

•Summer lunches for low-income children.
